BOM Optimization
To optimize the Bill of Materials (BOM) and remove any irregularities or inconsistencies in the data, such as part numbers, the following processes are followed to achieve high accuracy:
- Every constituent component goes through a full life cycle report to avoid obsolescence.
- Alternate components are considered, and the manufacturer's part number is thoroughly checked to ensure component accuracy.
- Information regarding the Last-Time-Buy (LTB) is provided on components nearing end-of-life (EOL).
- Part numbers are validated and evaluated as per procurement and design requirements.
- The part number is assessed for the manufacturing process.
PCB and Components Procurement
At Baava Tech, we follow a meticulous process to source components. We obtain them from reliable suppliers, analyze their availability, manage inventory efficiently, and procure bare board PCBs from reliable sources. We carefully manage shortages, obsolete, EOL, and hard-to-find components. Finally, we prepare a complete turnkey assembly quote by aligning the BOM. This ensures that our customers receive high-quality components that meet their requirements and are delivered on time.
